On November 9th 1989 the people of Europe dared to think for themselves – tearing down more than one wall in the process. They scrapped division, in favour of everyone, from Key West to Budapest, listening to each other.
Today, the walls are back. We judge one another from afar, instead of daring to come closer and see why we disagree.
That’s why our vision is to equip all young people with the same debate skills that tore down polarization in ’89. If we want change, these skills must be accessible to both teach and learn.
Because, if in a teacher’s hand, our software helps create one more Gorbachev, one more Mandela, or one more Thunberg, we’d have done our thing.
